Admin controls.
UPDATED 2026-08-01Admins on a LADLE Team plan can do the following: add and remove members, change roles, download the seat-usage report, change the workspace name and default settings, update the payment method, download invoices, and export the team's meal-donation history.
Admins cannot see other members' chats. This is intentional and not a permission that can be enabled. LADLE is a personal-productivity tool used at work, not a surveillance tool. Workplace chats often include personal reflection, career thinking, and drafts that aren't ready for teammates — putting an "admin view of all chats" toggle in the product would change what people trust the product for. If you need centralized visibility of AI use for compliance reasons, LADLE is not the right tool for that use case.
Admins can request a data export for a specific member (for example, when someone leaves the company). This produces a JSON of that member's chats and Projects, delivered to the admin's email. The member is notified when this is requested, and can see the timestamp of the export in their own settings. This is the closest LADLE gets to admin visibility, and it's exception-based rather than continuous.
To promote a member to Admin: Settings → Team → click the member → Change role → Admin. Same flow to demote. Every workspace needs at least one Admin; if you try to demote the last one you'll be blocked and asked to promote someone first.
For SSO and SCIM (SAML-based single sign-on and automated user provisioning), see the "SSO and SCIM availability" article — availability depends on your plan tier and rollout timing.
