The Windows native app is the last of the four planned native builds. It's in active development but not yet in public beta. Chrome / Edge / Firefox handle LADLE completely on Windows in the meantime — this isn't an availability gap, it's a native-shell gap.
Use LADLE on Windows today
- Any modern browser: Chrome, Edge, Firefox all render LADLE identically to macOS/iOS builds.
- PWA install: In Edge, click the address bar → Install LADLE. Same feature set, runs as a standalone window with its own taskbar icon.
- Chrome desktop app: Chrome menu → More tools → Create shortcut → Open as window. Same PWA behavior.

Why native at all
Web + PWA covers 95% of the reason to use LADLE on Windows. The native app adds: system-tray integration, global scratch-chat shortcut (same as macOS's ⌘⌥Space, but Win-key on Windows), better keyboard-handling in specific enterprise-restricted environments where PWAs get blocked, and background-restore that's more resilient than a browser tab. For most users, PWA is enough; for enterprise deployments the native app is meaningfully better.
