When exactly do my meals fund?

The WFP transfer runs on the last calendar day of each month at approximately 23:00 UTC. The exact time varies slightly (usually within a 30-minute window either side) depending on ShareTheMeal's platform processing and bank cut-offs.

If you subscribed on the 5th of the month, your first meal donation is included in that same month's transfer at end-of-month — approximately 25 days later. If you subscribed on the 28th of the month, your first donation is still included in that month's transfer — approximately 3 days later. Any subscription active as of the last day of the month is in that month's batch.

The confirmation receipt from ShareTheMeal typically returns within 30 minutes of the transfer. As soon as we have the reference number, it appears on the Impact page and in your personal My Table screen. If you're a subscriber who wants to be notified the moment the receipt is published, email support and we'll add you to the same-day announcement list — no marketing, just the receipt.

If a month's transfer is delayed (rare — has happened twice since launch, each time due to ShareTheMeal-side processing issues), the status page shows "MEALS PIPELINE — DELAYED" with an explanation, and the receipt appears as soon as ShareTheMeal confirms. Meals for that month still count; they just land a day or two later than usual.

Cancellations mid-month don't affect this cycle's donation. Your $8 was earmarked when you paid; it goes out with everyone else's at end-of-month.
